Fiber Optic Splicing:  We can splice any kind of Fiber Optic cable, Single mode fiber, including dispersion shifted, LEAF, Erbium Doped. We can Fusion splice multi mode fiber or install
mechanical connectors. We have encountered many different variations of Fiber Optic cable, Ribbon Fiber, central core, loose tube, micro tube and many different cable manufacturers.
Cables have been prepared and spliced in many different ways, mid-sheath entry, butt splice etc. what-ever the customer or engineer requires.

Fiber Optic Cable and System Testing:  Fiber optic cable can be tested using an OTDR, with any kind of formatting or reporting, i.e. bi-directional, 2 point loss etc. We can complete a
power test and even a complete Fiber Characterization test, such as PMD -Polarization Mode Dispersion and CD -Chromatic dispersion, whatever is needed to test and certify the
customers network.

System Auditing & Documentation:  Some networks have been neglected or poorly documented, customers seem to think they have dark or spare fibers they can use, only to find out
that the fibers are being used for something else. Fibertechs can help owners of the various networks & systems find out exactly what they have out there! We can use the existing
documentation or design and produce a custom designed network and system plan, clearly labeled, including the amount of fiber and where it goes!

Aerial & Underground placement of cables:  Our aerial construction department has T-40 bucket trucks, reel trailers, everything required to hang cable and strand. Our under ground
construction department has directional boring, mechanical trenchers, back hoe machines, winches and dump trucks to install inner duct pipe & pull cable underground.

Fusion splicer rental: Our rental department has Fiber Optic fusion splicers for rent, we have ribbon fusion splicers for rent, LID fusion splicers for rent. In fact, our rental fusion splicers
can splice almost any kind of fiber optic cable using profile alignment or LID alignment. Our fusion splicer rentals are available on a daily, weekly or monthly rental basis.

OTDR rental: Contact our rental department if you need to test your Fiber Optic cable network, we have several OTDR rentals available, we rent GN Nettest CMA 4000 OTDR rentals. Our
rental department can also rent power meters. We rent EXFO-FOT 920 power meters capable of testing Fiber Optic networks bi-directional very quickly in 1310 nm and 1550 nm,
simultaneously.

Bucket truck rental: Fibertechs bucket truck rental department, has Ford E350 bucket vans with 28 foot booms and larger utility bucket truck rentals with T-40 foot booms.
